Neighborhood Gem! Absolutely delicious Chinese food with delicious cocktails! I especially liked their more authentic dishes such as Sea Bass (as close to my mom’s cooking as it gets) and even the eggplant tasted just like home! Panfried noodle is also a must try - it’s so hard to find places that serve this!! The decor is lovely and the service was wonderful! You can tell the owners are really nice people people :)

Food was delicious! We ordered the sesame chicken, crispy beef, crispy chicken and wonton soup. The crispy chicken was spicy with no sauce. The crispy beef and sesame chicken were delicious but, the wonton soup was a bit cold and didn't have much flavor. Service was great and had nice ambiance. Would definitely go again.

In a city crowded with ordinary flavors, TNR rises effortlessly above the sea of culinary mediocrity. The spicy orange chicken stands as a masterclass in how American Chinese cuisine should be done—crisp yet tender, glazed in a sauce that’s bright, tangy, and complex without tipping into sweetness. It’s the kind of dish that makes you pause between bites—as if each balanced bite is inducing a religious experience. The weekday lunch special is another standout. It’s a rare find these days: pre-pandemic pricing paired with post-pandemic quality. Affordable, generous, and prepared with the same care as the dinner menu. TNR doesn’t just serve great food—it restores your faith in what familiar comfort dishes can be when done with passion and commitment to excellence.

This is our favorite Chinese spot! We used to live right down the street, and even after moving, we still make the drive to come here. The food is excellent and the service is quick. Everyone is also so friendly and attentive. The whole experience is really pleasant and the ambiance inside is so nice.

I was visiting and 2 separate strangers on the street recommended this place. I am glad they did. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very nice. I ordered beef egg roll appetizer which was very meaty and large. It had great flavor. We also got crab rangoon which the others in my party really like. I thought it was average. We also got soup balls which are little rice things filled with a ball of meat and some soup. This is my first experience with this dish and I did not quite understand the fact that they were filled with soup so I was quite surprised when I tried to cut it in half and was met with a gush of soup. I have to say they were very tasty. For main course I've got a beef and some kind of thick rice noodle dish. I had never had this particular noodle before. The dish was very tasty but I'm not a fan of the consistency of the noodles. The tofu dish was very delicious and the sesame chicken was a huge portion and was very tasty. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant when I'm in the area again.

Even though I wrote in all of the instructions, and you can see the order receipt also says: NO ONION, I got onion, and a lot. On the sweet and sour pork and on the fried rice (pictures attached) I don't have a problem with onion, but my wife does, that's why I did the request and it was blatantly ignored. The flavor was good (for me), but not a good experience for my wife. If there are dishes that you can't take the onion out, let me know in advance and I can order something else, but don't promise something that you are not going to fulfill. Edit: We messaged TNR café on Instagram and they offered a $50 gift card. We then decided to actually go to the restaurant and dine-in. Amazing experience! The place is beautiful and the food delicious (this time, no onion to be seen!). We got the General Tso Chicken again, Soup dumplings and some curry-based noodles. We also ordered some beers and wine (happy hour). Service was efficient and servers kind. If I would have to criticize something, the house white wine offered in the happy hour was not good, but again, it is a happy hour wine. No complaints whatsoever and will definitely come back.
